Umami Community Newsletter, 11/18

It’s been a fantastic week at Umami and we have some very exciting news to share. At this week’s AMA we announced the onboarding of a long time Umami community member and legendary CT Threadooor, Haym! (SalomonCrypto). As Umami’s new Growth Manager he is the perfect person to explain the benefits of Defi and Umami’s products to our target market of traditional finance.

Another major update this week is the announcement of Umami’s partnership with Camelot DEX. Per the partnership we will be migrating the liquidity of our cmUMAMI/UMAMI pair to Camelot once they are fully launched, in return Umami’s treasury will receive an ownership allocation in the Camelot protocol as well as incentives for an UMAMI/WETH pair in their Genesis pools when they go live on Nov. 22nd, you can also expect a joint AMA from our teams soon. We will be dropping an announcement at the beginning of next week with all relevant information Umami community members may need to know!

It was a strong week for Umami and we are thankful to be able to share these awesome updates with you. Speaking of being thankful, next Thursday is Thanksgiving so we will be skipping our weekly AMA and just doing it the following week instead. However, we will be hosting a Joint AMA next week with our frens at Vendor Finance who’s platform enables the lend/borrow of Umami and cmUMAMI.
